MSLETB launches the National Craft Butcher Apprenticeship

The National Craft Butcher Apprenticeship is a two year programme delivered primarily “On-the-Job” by experienced Craft Butchers.

On successful completion of the Craft Butcher Apprenticeship, you will  receive a Certificate in Craft Butchery at QQI Level 5 Major Award making the holder eligible to progress to QQI Level 6 courses.

Generation Apprenticeship


MSLETB created a 3D structure as an entry to promote Apprenticeships in Ireland. This is an innovative national competition celebrating design, team-working and the problem-solving skills of Irish apprentices. Check out our video on our Facebook page. To see the 3D structures, and for more information about the competition, see Judging is on the 20th April and the winner will be announced on the 30th April.

National Career Traineeship in Hospitality Launched in Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim by MSLETB Training Centres – Sligo and Ballina

National Career Traineeship in Hospitality 

Applicants for the Traineeship in Hospitality must secure a place in a Host/Sponsor Hotel to qualify for this programme.  Click here for Host Employer Form. Please bring this completed form with you when registering for the programme.

Applicants should contact one of the participating Hotels (see list below) to apply for a Work Based Training place. Applicants who have not secured a Work Based Training Place will not be considered for this programme.
